This shows that Ditto keeping its face when it transforms is not just an anime thing, so they should work on implementing Ditto sprites for every single Pokemon in the next game.

Actually this is sometimes referred to as Duplica’s Ditto still from the anime. Which is an abnormality is dittos. but I do agree that dittos should have their own sprites but doubling the amount of pokemon sprites in the game would be too much especially now that they’re animated.

Also, to add to the faces, there have been TCG cards where they show the Ditto Expression on different Pokemon, notably the EX Delta Species. This would be an example.
